THINGS WE MAKE AND DO
Exhibitions came from us creating enough art to warrant sharing it…
Art Fairs came from people liking what we made and wanting us to sell at their fairs…
Events came from us believing we could do things better…
Prints & Projects are simply tangible things of ideas we made that people seem to enjoy and want to buy.
EXHIBITIONS
No show is ever the same. Never the same artists, never the same work, never the same experience.
During the planning and production process, we always meet up for drinks, so all the artists get to know each other. This builds our collective approach and allows everyone to feel involved in the process, pride in what they’ve done, and a desire to do it with us again and again.
EVENTS
Artists are show offs and we’re no different. We like to engage and entertain people with our events, and with life drawing we saw an institution that was needlessly stuffy and elitist, so we created The Joy of Drawing as a cheery and non judgemental antidote.
We also introduced Drink and Not Draw – a natural extension to our exhibition meet-ups – where artists can simply meet other artists to chat shop, learn about the industry or simply make friends with likeminded people.
FAIRS
The Arty Farty Art Fair and the Arty Farty Art Shop were plans that were sadly scuppered as a result of the pandemic, but whilst we find our feet again, we’ll continue to be a part of amazing art fairs hosted by others.
It’s a great way to meet and hang out with other artists and to see other engage with your work.
PRINTS & PRODUCTS
We often have ideas that require collaboration. Whether a book, a tea towel or online gallery – we put the feelers out to the right artists and see where it goes.
No one’s asked us to make this thing, we just think it’d be a shame for that idea to disappear in a notebook somewhere. Naturally, the ideas that resonate the most with our network of artists are the ones that get made
